I’ve noticed that certain celebrities channel infantilization into their aesthetic or branding strategies because of how popular the youthful feminine figure has always been. It’s so awkward because while they are grown women, it’s clear they are trying to appear almost decades younger. These women wouldn’t be doing that if there wasn’t an enormous market for it.
And we see how the masses so eagerly sexualize Billie Eillish, who is barely a woman yet. It’s quite disturbing to observe the ephebophilic tastes of a lot of men. It’s truly uncomfortable.
I feel much sexier the more I age, to be honest. I wish we could celebrate natural femininity and aging.
