I do agree with a lot you're saying, however I don't think she intended this exactly. She wanted to be a singer. Her label probably forced her into certain aesthetics and by now it's so deeply imbedded into her brand. I can't imagine how she can remove herself from it now, even though she has a lot more power than she did in the beginning.

Just like with Britney, moms try to blame her for being a bad influence and what not. Neither Ari or Brit catered their music toward children nor are they babysitters. It's not their responsibilities to uphold any type of image according to the audience.

Also, I don't think we can blame Ariana for pedophilia in any way. I totally get the cringe and creepy aspects, but pedophiles are attracted to children and Ariana is a grown woman. She can't convert anybody to be attracted to actual children. There are some taboo fetishes like that, but they center around adults that dress as children. Not actual children.
