Honestly this really stands out to me too and it’s hard to ignore. It’s troubling because yes of course we want to progress but why is it always on women to do this work? Like…the majority of men are not working with us… but then when we talk women’s issues it’s apparently time for them to talk about men’s issues. Lets not pretend they’re going out of their way to discuss men’s issues outside of these conversations about women’s oppression. We can acknowledge their patriarchal issues but like you say, we’ve spent our lives adjusting to their needs so why do this much for them now that we’re conscious of that fact? What a wild idea. I relate to this article a lot, especially today.
