BRAVA! I couldn't agree with you more. I've been compiling a long list of female characters like Annamae who are labled "unlikeable" and "anti-hero" or controversial. They are almost always the best ones! Annamae is hands down the greatest character we've seen on television within the last twenty years, in my humble opinion. None of those kids deserved her help, that's a hill I'll happily die on.
